This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers xavant.com only; our products and our distributors have their own notices.

Who we are

Xavant Technology (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the controller under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What this website collects

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and its fonts and images are served from our own host, so your visit isn't shared with third parties. Like every web server, our hosting provider records technical logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) to keep the site secure and working, and those logs are kept for a limited period.

The home page remembers, in your own browser's storage, that you've visited before, so it can show a different product photograph next time. That note never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.

When you request a demo or support

The demo and support forms don't send anything to our servers. They prepare an email in your own mail program with the details you typed, and nothing is sent until you press send there. We use what you send only to reply to your request, and we may pass it to the Xavant distributor who serves your country so they can help you. We send product updates only if you switched them on, and you can stop them at any time by telling us.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it for updates. You can also complain to the Information Regulator in South Africa or, if you're in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.

Instructions for use

You can read and download our instructions for use without giving any personal information. If you ask for a paper copy, we use your details only to send it.
